Halloween Cookies

I baked cookies for my son's school party.
I used icing and food coloring, and candy corns for the nails of witch fingers.
Which finger is really good for Halloween.
It doesn't need a cookie cutter and can be prepared very quickly.

                                          Butter 80g:Keep it in room temperature
                                          Mixed with sugar(80g)

                                          Egg 1ea: Added and mix lightly

                                          All purpose Flour : 120g

                                          Wrapp it and keep it in the refrigerator 30 min.

                                          Make sticks of dough and use a knife for the knuckles.

Press down to mold a nail hole for the finger

                                          Baked in the oven (320-350F) whithout cany cone.

                                          It's Done.

                                          Add red colored icing and Caramel Apple Candy Corn,
                                          then wait until it is dry.

                                          Use the cookie cutter and decorate.

I baked small sized tartes to share with his orchestra members.

Apple Pie (2)

It is a good time for baking apple pie to eat and as gift to people.
Here is the recipe for crunch dough Lattice top apple pie.


                                         Bread flour 100g, Allpurpose flour 100g

                                          *Cold Butter 150g :Cut the butter into bigger dices.

                                         *Cold water :100g
                                          Put it all together in the processer

                                          Let it run for a very short time on it. Just stop when it is in a lump.
                                          Take it out and wrapp it with cling wrap and keep in the refrigerate for 30mins.
                                          (Don't touch it with your hands if possible)

                                          Place it in the bottom of your pan.

Fill with filling 
Create a sheet of dough and cut strips with a pizza cutter

Lay each strip overlapping the other 

Like so (leave very little space open) 

Use the rim of the pie case and press down with your fingers
to cut it off 

Mix one egg and one tablespoon of water to cover
the crust and the lattice 

 Bake in oven for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Done.

Apple Pie(1)

Not much sugar to fill it. It's a very light filling for Apple Pie.
You can use it for Apple pound Cake also.
                                       
                                          Apple 300g
                                          Peel the apples, take out the core and cut into quarters.
                                          Each slice should be thick.

          
                                          Butter 8g
                                          Heat the pan (preferably one with a thick bottom) and
                                          add the butter and melt.

Pour the apple and toss lightly.
 Coat each piece with butter and keep it from clumping.


Sugar 60g, Salt 2.5g :Add the sugar ,salt and stir.
Add brown sugar for better color.

When the mixture starts boiling, keep the heat low and boil.

Boil until the juice is almost gone, 
(Careful so it doesn't burn) 
Add Cinamon(2.5g) 
Stir lightly and boil again.

Done.
Cook Tip: If  possible choose tougher apples.
It's better than the softer one(Like Fuji apple)
